📊 Registration is now open for our July 16 Practice Management Series: Strategic Planning & Buy An Accounting Practice
Practice Management Bootcamp for Accounting Firm Owners

Building a successful accounting practice rarely happens by accident. Most firm owners spend years mastering accounting, tax, and client service. Few receive formal training on leadership, profitability, team development, growth planning, succession, or practice management.
The Practice Management Bootcamp was created to fill that gap.
A Program Designed for Implementation, Not Just Inspiration
Many professional development events provide great ideas that are forgotten a week later. The Practice Management Bootcamp is different.
Why 6 Sessions Instead of Consecutive Days
Many accounting firm owners understand the value of practice management education. The challenge is finding the time.
Stepping away from the office for several consecutive days is not always realistic. Even when practitioners attend an intensive multi-day program, the amount of information can be overwhelming, making it difficult to implement everything once they return to the demands of running a practice.
Over the years, we’ve found that spreading the learning experience across 6 half-day sessions produces better results. Participants have time to absorb new ideas, evaluate what applies to their firm, implement changes, and return to the next session with questions, experiences, and lessons learned.
This approach transforms learning into action. Instead of returning to the office with a long list of ideas, participants build momentum throughout the year, making meaningful improvements one step at a time.
The result is often greater implementation, stronger accountability, and more lasting change.
How the Bootcamp Works

The Practice Management Bootcamp consists of 6 interactive half-day virtual sessions delivered throughout the year.
Each session builds on the previous one, creating a structured learning experience that allows participants to continuously improve their practices while maintaining their client commitments and day-to-day responsibilities.
Between sessions, participants are encouraged to apply what they’ve learned, reflect on their progress, and share their experiences with the group at the next session, or call Jean-Guy Talbot, FCPA, FCGA, to discuss their challenges.
This combination of learning, implementation, and peer discussion creates a powerful environment for growth.

One of the Greatest Benefits: Learning From Other Practitioners
Every accounting firm faces unique challenges. Yet many of the most valuable lessons come from hearing how other practitioners approached similar situations.
Throughout the Bootcamp, participants share experiences, discuss real-world situations, and learn from one another in a collaborative environment. Many past participants have said these discussions alone were worth the investment.

Why We Don't Schedule Bootcamps Every Year
The Practice Management Bootcamp is not a recurring webinar series with fixed dates. We organize new cohorts when there is sufficient interest from accounting professionals who are committed to participating and contributing to the group experience.
This approach allows us to create stronger discussions, more relevant content, and a better overall experience for participants.
If you're interested in joining a future Bootcamp, the best thing you can do is add your name to the waiting list.
When enough practitioners have expressed interest, we will organize the next cohort and contact those on the list first.
Not Ready for the Bootcamp?
Our Practice Management Series offers focused half-day virtual sessions throughout the year and is a great way to experience the Rev Up Your Practice community before committing to the full Bootcamp program.
